The funny thing is, PB most definitely could’ve gotten away with this bullshit in the 90s, back in Geocities and AngelFire’s heyday, when PB was literally the ONLY free online bulk photo/video storage provider. But nowadays, all web hosting services charge minimal annual fees for domain renewal, allocating hundreds of gigabytes for photos/music/video storage at no extra charge.
To put things in perspective, I pay Google $10 annually to operate the Big Top Blog. And yet PhotoBucket wants to charge $100 a year just to store & share images. The target demographic must be someone who needs to store massive amounts of photos and videos but does not own any modern technology (a smartphone/laptop/tablet). 🙄🙄
