That has a nice ring to it... right, that brings me to my entry. Two of my Journalism homework assignments were published in the latest issue of our school's newspaper (The Eagle's Eye): "Lunch Prices Continue to Soar" and "They Blinded Me With Science." I'm so happy! The only thing that I don't like is the photo they attached to my lunch prices story. It's a picture of a girl (at least I think it's a girl; hell, I'm not even sure if it's human) shoving a huge sub into her mouth. It looks so heinous because she has that crazed, savage look in her eyes like she hasn't eaten anything for a month. "RRRRRRMUNCH-MUNCH!" Ick.
What did I learn? Having your work published always feels great... especially when it's flawless (grammatically and in terms of content). Also, whenever you have something published, your mother's gonna want to send it to Grandma--to put on the fridge next to that darn magnet collection of hers no doubt.
