Jessica, the girl I mentioned in the last entry has amazed me, and I think I've found out why I'm drawn to her. She's a female version of me.

I know it sounds crazy but every day it becomes more and more true. First of all, we're both on the yearbook staff and were both named Copy Editors of the book. Both of us have articles going into the next issue of the school newspaper. Also, we both like to dance and perform; she wants to be in Drama club, I've been a member for years (plus, she longs to play the villain since she's the opposite) She's the only girl I know who I can discuss gross-out episodes of Nip/Tuck with. Jessica also watches Reno 911, The Critic, MAD tv, and The Simpsons, favorites of mine. And she respects my Britney. Her work appeared in last year's Literary Magazine alongside mine. To top things off, our answers to a political survey (7 questions) were identical!

The only thing that sickens me is that she's good friends with my rival, my nemesis, Satan McHellfire himself! Ick! Aside from that I'm very glad to have met her and hope to keep the friendship alive for quite some time.

What have I learned? This is an old lesson: Never date a carbon copy of yourself! After a couple phone conversations you will be bored out of your mind because you two will run out of fresh, interesting topics to talk about eventually... or something like that.
