Theme Song: "Gay Boyfriend" - The Hazzards
On these lonely winter nights, I've been sending up the bat signal a lot lately, and like a good friend, Sara a.k.a. Girl Wonder is always willing to drop whatever she's doing to come over and comfort me--she never stands me up with some bullshit excuse. Over the past two years, she's been my Hotel Huber hallmate and my loyal dance partner (Tango, Street Fighting, and now, Salsa! Rah-Cha-Cha-Cha!).
Tonight marks our 4th Date Night (Dinner & A Double Feature) in the past two weeks; moreover, I've spent the entire weekend with her. And since she's finally gettin' settled into her official role of "hag," we end up watching a movie just for the "hot, scruffy guy" on the cover--Dante's Cove a.k.a. straight-to-DVD gay erotica mini-series with a paper-thin story. Although I personally don't like that DVD (rip-off) because of all the blatantly meaningless sexual gratuity, Sara LOVES the movie and calls it "artsy"! Right... girl, don't worry about returning that DVD to me EVER.
Not until 4 hours into the date do we realize how sick and twisted our relationship is slowly becoming. I ask her, "Girl Wonder, are we having stimulating conversation, watchin' overpriced porn, cuddling in the middle of the night?!" "M'hmmm...." AHHHHHHHHHH!!! But you know what's really sad: she's the best date I've had in weeks and vice versa... that is just WROOOONG! I NEVER want us to become Will and Grace--y'know, the eternally single straight gal living with a eunuch--believe me, I've seen a lot of those on campus. *cringe* To make a long story short, I'm officially putting myself back on the market in 3, 2, 1... NOW!!
