Opening Song: "The New Workout Plan" - Kanye West
Monday
Snow Day! I spent most of my day working on my latest screenplay (to be acted out this coming May), Alias: Day of the Doppelganger.
Tuesday
I looked like an escaped mental patient that morning. Like a lot of people, I thought it was gonna be a B Day... it wasn't. So at 7:15AM I ducked into the wrong classroom, ran across the hall to the right classroom, but since I didn't have my glasses on (without em, I'm blind) I thought that was the wrong class, so I ran back to the wrong classroom, asked the teacher what day it was and then I calmly walked back to other room at 7:17 exactly.
The thing is, I'm notorious for arriving right at the 7:17 bell, and whenever I'm late I don't like to make a big entrance so I duck in through the back door. One time I slowly crept into the wrong class (I wasn't fully awake), Hailee yelled "HEY JAMES!" and I just stared at her and calmly backed up out of her class... "I'm invisible, you can't see me if I don't respond!"
That day we had a test in AP Psychology which I definitely didn't study for (neither did a lot of people)... but I got an A! WOO! Some of my friends probably hate me for it but... it's SO worth it! Boo-yah!
And although I had been dreading Band class all day ('cause I forgot my clarinet for the first time EVER!), it turned out to be awesome! When the band played without me, it just sounded nasty. Apparently, no one else in my section can play my part AND they've been faking it the entire time! Haha. It made me feel important when Hailee, our 1st chair flute player, said she needed to hear me playing so that she could stay in tempo. Awwww. So sweet. Made me remember all those music seminars when the instructors would praise me for my ability to internally keep a steady tempo and never get distracted.
Wednesday
Wednesday was a weird one! The first thing that I remember is getting hit in the back of the head with a basketball in Team Sports class. It was funny--really woke me up. Then, at the end of the day I was walking away from the vending machine and I tripped over my own feet... and it was a good one! I had my huge boots on; somehow they got crossed and I tipped over like a totem pole. It was such a surprise 'cause I actually cursed on the way down. "OH SHIT!" *gasp* O well, I can laugh at myself.
Later, we had rehearsal for Rice Lady's one-act play (which she wrote, WOO!), entitled The Visits. When we all went up to the Drama Green Room, things were just insane. All Zach wanted to do was put on ugly drama closet dresses (that Amber "forced" him to put on... M'hmm.). That was not HOT... just disturbing. Besides that, it went pretty well; wish Shannon could've made it (since I haven't seen her in over a month), but that didn't happen.
After practice, we just went bonkers up in there! Rice Lady and I attacked a bucket of buttons and we were racing each other to see who could count the most. In less than 10 minutes, we had counted 1,673 buttons belonging to LeFrancois. Good times.
Thursday
I nailed my solos in Band class, gave it 110% in afterschool rehearsal, and played the new rhythms perfectly all day long. Kick-ass!
Friday
Today was short and sweet. O yeah, I won the Golden Eagle Award! WOO! I don't mind winning that one, but if I ever won the Student Of The Month, I would have to decline. Ewww. Well, I'd take it if I won for Phys Ed (which is extremely possible). As I said before, I'm liking my body so much nowadays. I wore my silver Batman shirt today, and as expected, the people were all over it. Autumn's friend totally squeezed my nipple... I've known her for a day, but I don't mind. I am a man-whore, after all. *shrugs*
Quote Of The Day: "No pecs, no sex." - Sean Hayes, Will & Grace
Ain't that the truth?! I was trying out some sexy looks for my upcoming striptease, and I think I'm gonna call the girls over so they can take some steamy photos for my portfolio (I might submit some photos for a DKNY modeling job... since I wear a lot of their athletic gear).
That reminds me! Yearbook class was so funny today. While laying out the Spring Supplement (to be printed only if Music Mayhem makes enough money), we got 3/4 finished with the Sports section before we realized that we completely forgot about Tennis and Outdoor Track. "So?!" That was pretty much how everyone felt (even Ms. McArdle), but we've decided to be nice (just this ONCE!) and give them each a page... or maybe half a page. Whatever.
If you were wondering, I'm not even working on the Sports pages; instead, I'm designing the Class of 2005 Graduation page. OWWW! *spins around* That's such an honor for me, 'cause I got to have the first word in the yearbook (the introduction) and now I have the last word, too (the ending). So far, I think my Graduation story's gonna be called "The World Of Tomorrow". Thanks, Jude, for that one.
Alright, I've talked enough for one night. And since I didn't share a dream tonight, I promise to air a two-part episode of Dream Within A Dream sometime next week. Enjoy the weekend, y'all! I know I will...
