Theme Song: "Backflip" - Raven
I'm already finished with my Film 101 final exam, and I think I did pretty well on that one. I earned an A on my 5-page paper classifying David Lynch (Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks, Mulholland Dr.)as an auteur. WOO! The only question on the exam I am totally clueless about on the final is the one about Umberto D. And after looking it up on Amazon.Com, I know why--I never saw it! That movie's part of the Italian Neorealism unit, though. Good stuff--Depressing stuff. Later in the afternoon I receive an A on my oral exam for Chinese Culture through Film and I turn in my 84-page portfolio (cover shown below) for Creative Writing 205 w/ Dusty, entitled "Bending the Rules." I'm not sure how I did on my 6-essay test for Horror in the 19th Century; so far I've earned three A's and one B+ on my major papers in that class, so I should be a'ight.
Tomorrow I get to go home; I don't think I've ever been eager to go back. And not just because it's Christmas! I'm just not liking the weather here right now. Really, last night I was ice skating in my Timbalands; you'll be happy to know I didn't bust my ass, and I have a bump on my head 'cause after walking in that stupid ice storm. Plus, I wanna see my Rice Lady (who actually sent me an email with her computer-challenged self) b/c I haven't seen or talked to her since my Final Farewell party in August.
