Opening Song: "Honestly OK" - Dido
Over the past couple of weeks, mainly as a result of seeing "fatherly figures" all over TV, my paternal instincts have been clawing their way to the surface.
Yesterday I was honestly OK with the idea of having a kid someday... then last night I saw a little movie directed by a guy named Stephen King. You may remember it, CHILDREN OF THE CORN!! AHHH!
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the horror classic and/or the South Park parody ("The Great Molestation Adventure"), this film is about a couple who stumbles upon a town without any adults. The children killed their parents and sacrificed them to the "Corn God." *cringe* And after watching it, I woke up this morning thinking, "I can't have this baby."
Quote Of The Day: "I spy, with my little eye, something that starts with the letter C." "Corn." - Burt & Vicky a.k.a. Peter Horton and Linda Hamilton, Children Of The Corn
Oh, the horror! Seriously, you can't even IMAGINE having a child after watching that bloodbath. In my opinion, this video should be required for Health class or Biology or Applied Nutrition ("See what all that corn will do to ya!").
Oh yeah! Speaking of scariness, I never truly realized how scared people were of Angela (you know who she be, y'all!); I discovered this while we were doing some stupid yoga crap in the Green Room. All of a sudden our happy-go-lucky conversation with the drama director turned into Tales From The Crypt with Mr. LeFrancois as the Cryptkeeper.
He never even referred to Angela by her human name when he was warning Zach about her dark magic... instead, he said: "Drop it! If you knew this individual like we do, then you'd know that there is no winning SO just drop it, by golly!" His exact words, man. If this were a horror movie, this would be the part where Angela's hand would burst through the floor, grab LeFrancois by the throat, and drag him back to her lair. *cringe*
Other than that, my week hasn't been overly frightening or anything. I've basically been exercising, playing some PS2 games (like Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and DDRMAX2) and talking on the phone with my peeps. C-ya!
